Detroit’s New Center Neighborhood

Henry Ford Health, Michigan State University and Pistons Sports & Entertainment LLC came together to announce a transformative redevelopment project at the Henry Ford Health academic health care and Detroit Pistons shared campus, that will turn Detroit’s New Center neighborhood into a vibrant, walkable destination community.

A major expansion of Henry Ford Hospital will anchor the development, including a brand new, more than one-million-square-foot facility and patient tower. The campus will also have a cutting edge medical research facility alongside three mixed-use residential and commercial buildings.
