Former Governor Snyder’s Education & Talent Summit took place March 12-13, 2018, and was attended by 450 people made up of HR professionals, educators and business leaders. The purpose of this event was to discover new ways for the business community to connect with educators and community leaders to be able to work together to ensure the state’s bright future continues to shine. 

Speakers included then-Governor Snyder, then-Lt. Governor Calley, Alison Gleeson from Cicso, author George Couros, Ray Telang from PwC, TED Director Roger Curtis and MDE State Superintendent Brian Whiston. The Governor’s Marshall Plan was a large focus of the conference.
